Eco-Cem is available in both 1/4” and 1/2” thicknesses, with 1/4” being suitable for cladding. The weight of 1/4” Eco-Cem is 2.2 per sf.
Have you ever been to eco-cem.com? There are a lot of diagrams that show the installations of exterior cladding.
You would want some moisture barrier unless you are installing over existing cladding. You may or may not choose to use a rubber gasket behind your mullion but edges themselves do not need to be sealed.
Anonymous asked: is your stone collection "eco-friendly?" where does your stone - lava, quartz, marble, etc. come from? Is radioactivity an issue with your stones as it is with granite?
Our stone collection is quite varied. The “Environmentally Friendly” advocates are constantly debating the environmental impact of stone. We certainly select stone only from environmentally friendly quarries (those restoring the environment after extracting stone, using bio-diesel in equipment, closed loop water systems, wildlife habitats in buffer zones)
As for the radioactivity in stone, it also is a debated point. You would need to check from stone to stone. None of our stones show any radioactivity higher than the norm.

White Calacata is a material that we try to keep in stock…and we currently have stock. If it is for a large project, and we do not have enough in stock - the lead time will vary from 4 weeks + depending on material, time of year, and quantity.
